New Balance Canada was launching a special edition of their classic 574, called the Woods Pack. These limited-edition shoes would only be available in Canada at New Balance retailers, so naturally the budget was also very limited. We had to find a buzz-worthy launch idea that would get noticed by the country’s dedicated shoe heads. So we did something no-one expected, we gave a pair to every person in Canada. Well, with a small catch.
